SmartFit Kids introduces children to the world of Science, Technology, Engineering ,and Math through hand-on learning and play. The program has inspired many students to go into STEM-related study.

 

Most of today’s children are digital natives, growing up with the results of science, technology, engineering, and math advancements all around them in their daily life.  Providing an understanding of STEM means giving kids an understanding of the world around us. SmartFit Kids Teachers guide students through playing, experimenting, trying, failing, and generally getting excited about the things they love, from STEM basics to more advanced engineering and science concepts.

SmartFit Kids’ STEM Summer Camp is a very popular camp in Anne Arundel county. Students will learn the concept of design, build, and testing a new project each week according to their age and learning level. Combining exciting daily field trips, 40-minutes of fun academics, 1 hour of STEM class, and daily sports, SmartFit Kids is here to keep your children engaged all summer long. During the course of the camp, children participate in fields trips to Mega Fun Center, Mini Golf, Splash Waterparks or swimming pool, The Aviation Museum, Naval Academy, movie theater, Goddard Space Center, Go Karting, the Wizard of Oz park, Bowling and more.

SmartFit Kids Summer Camp is licensed through the Department of Health (formally DHMH).

               8:00am – 5:00pm (Regular Camp Hours for Severna Park) 
               7:00am - 6:00pm (including Before and After Care  - Severna Park Only)

WHO     Smart Fit Summer Camp is open to students, ages 4-14 in Severna Park, Arnold, Annapolis, Pasadena, Glen Burnie, and other areas of Anne Arundel County,

COST (Monday through Friday camp)

Registration Fee for all Camps: $75/family

Severna Park Camp Hours: 8:00 - 5:00 with before and after care options from 7am-8am and 5pm-6pm

STEM and Adventure Camps (Ages 6-14) 8:00AM - 5:00PM

1 - 3 Weeks, $350/week

4 - 6 Weeks, $320/week

7 -9 Weeks,  $295/week

Day Camp/Drop-In: $90

Young Explorers Camp (Ages 4-5) 8:00AM - 5:00PM

1 - 3 Weeks, $380/week

4 - 6 Weeks, $370/week
