The safety of children, families, and staff is our top priority during inclement weather, including snow, ice, severe storms, or other unsafe conditions.

• Decision-making: Delayed openings, early closures, or full closures are based on local weather, road safety, and guidance from school systems or local authorities.
   

• Following local closures: The center often follows public school or government office closures, but may make independent decisions based on site-specific conditions.
   

• Notifications: Any changes to hours or closures will be announced through email and the parent portal.
   

• Upcoming storms/blizzards: Families will be notified of the opening status once conditions of roads, parking lots, and sidewalks are assessed.
   

• Early closures: If weather worsens late in the day, the center may close early based on local forecasts and recommendations. Families will be asked to pick up children promptly.
   

• Reopening: The center will reopen once roads, parking areas, and walkways are cleared and safe.
