SmartFit Kids is committed to providing support to the children in our care and in our Anne Arundel County communities.  Our teachers are MSDE certified, can effectively monitor E-learning, and are qualified to transport the children to and from schools.  We also offer before and after-care. We have five options which you can choose from that will better support your needs.  Please see the list below for more information in the ways we can help you.

SmartFit Kids follows the Federal Office's weather policy, and we do not follow the AACPS schedule.  We are open when schools are closed. On days when there is no school, our certified teachers will offer age-appropriate lessons and activities that fit your children's needs.

Option 1: Hybrid E-Learning Support with Before and After Care

 

SmartFit Kids will provide a stable and secure learning environment for the children in our center.  Our MSDE certified teachers are here to provide support for e-learning and transportation to and from schools.  Our MSDE certified teachers will support E-learning, supervise classwork and homework, provide Taekwondo and age-appropriate activities for the children.  We offer after-school clubs such as Art, Chess, Chinese, and Drama for an additional club fee. Before and after care are two days a week and E-learning is three days a week.

Option 2: Hybrid E-Learning Support with Before Care

SmartFit Kids will provide the opportunity for parents to drop their children off at our center prior to the the start of the school day.  Our certified teachers will take the children to school.  Parents will pick up their children from school. Our MSDE certified teachers will support E-learning, supervise classwork and homework, provide Taekwondo and age-appropriate activities for the children. We offer after school clubs such as Art, Chess, Chinese, and Drama for an additional club fee.  Before care is two days a week and E-learning is three days a week

Option 3: Hybrid E-Learning Support with After Care

SmartFit Kids will provide the flexibility for parents to drop their children off at school while our certified teachers pick them up at dismissal and bring them back to our facility.  Our MSDE certified teachers will support E-learning, supervise classwork and homework, provide Taekwondo and age-appropriate activities for the children.  We offer after school clubs such as Art, Chess, Chinese, and Drama for an additional club fee. After care is two days a week and E-learning is three days a week

Option 4: Weekly E-Learning Support

SmartFit Kids will provide a stable and secure learning environment for the children in our center. Our MSDE certified teachers will support E-learning, supervise classwork and homework, provide Taekwondo and age-appropriate activities for the children.  We offer after-school clubs such as Art, Chess, Chinese, and Drama for an additional fee. E-learning can be three days or five days a week

Option 5: Before and After Care Only 

SmartFit Kids will provide the opportunity for parents to drop their children off prior to the start of the school day and pick them up from our center. SmartFit Kids will provide transportation by certified teachers to and from schools.  Our MSDE certified teachers will provide supervised homework help, Taekwondo and age-appropriate activities for the children.  We offer after school clubs such as Art, Chess, Chinese, and Drama for an additional club fee.  Before and after care will be two days a week until schools resume to five days a week.
